Just realized my airport meal routine was burning cash for no reason
I always figured buying food at the airport was just part of the deal, even if it cost a lot. Then last month, I got stuck during a delay and paid twelve dollars for a bottle of water and a granola bar. I looked around and saw a bunch of people with full lunches they brought from home, chatting and not stressed. That really got me thinking about how dumb my habit was. Lately, I notice more folks with their own food, probably because prices everywhere keep going up. Now I pack a sandwich and some fruit, and I save maybe thirty bucks every trip. It feels obvious now, but it took seeing it to click. My wallet is definitely happier.
