PSA: We're all skipping the simple step that stops elevator noise
A building owner was convinced the lift needed a full motor swap because of a loud rumble. I cleaned and lubricated the guide rails, and the sound disappeared completely, saving a huge repair bill. Why do we always assume the worst instead of trying the obvious first?

Oh man, you just described my entire brain! I'm the king of turning a simple choice into a whole crisis. I once spent twenty minutes staring at two nearly identical shades of gray paint at the hardware store. My friend finally just pointed at one and said "this one" to save me. So yeah, I'm painfully familiar with the overthinking loop!

Twenty minutes staring at gray paint? @phoenix_roberts83, that's crazy. I would have lost my mind after five. How do you even decide between shades that look the same? That's some serious overthinking right there. Your friend did you a favor by picking one.
