Spent $75 on a contract template and it actually saved me

I had this client who owed me $600 for 3 dogs I groomed for a photoshoot. They kept saying the check was in the mail for like 6 weeks. I finally bought a simple contract template from The Contract Shop for $75 and sent them a formal demand letter. They paid within 3 days after I sent it. Has anyone else had luck with cheap legal templates scaring slow payers?

Heard the same thing from a friend who runs a dog walking business. She sent a formal letter after a client ghosted her on a $400 bill and got paid immediately.
