The one review that fixed my pricing forever
A customer in Omaha sent me a four paragraph rant after I finished their project, and buried in all the noise was this gem: 'your invoice looks like a grocery list with no prices.' It stung, but I realized every line item just said 'work completed' with one lump sum. Now I break everything down by the hour and materials, and attach photos of each stage, and I swear I've had zero payment arguments since. Has anyone else gotten a weirdly brutal review that actually saved their business?
