Came across an old facial steamer at an estate sale, now I'm rethinking my whole routine

Found a vintage steam machine at an estate sale in Cleveland for $35. It looked rough but the lady said it still works. I took it home, cleaned it up, and tried it on myself. The steam output is way gentler than my modern one. My skin felt softer after one use. I'm curious if older equipment just hits different or if I got lucky. Has anyone else tried older spa tools and noticed a difference?

Maybe it's just me but I'd worry about old parts and what's actually coming out of that thing.
