I saw a facialist in Miami use a technique I thought was totally wrong

I was at a big skin care show in Florida last year and watched a demo where the esthetician used a high frequency wand on a client with active acne. I was taught to NEVER do that. She explained she uses a very low setting and a glass electrode, and it actually calmed the redness down in minutes. It made me rethink my whole approach to inflamed skin. Has anyone else tried this method on breakout areas?

Oh man, I was the same way for the longest time, @rosecarr. Then I saw it broken down in a super simple way and it just clicked for me. It's one of those things that seems way harder than it actually is.
