Rant: I keep seeing people skip the patch test on the inner arm

It's a huge risk, especially with new chemical peels or strong actives. My mentor in Tampa drilled into me to always test there for 24 hours, not just behind the ear. Anyone else have a client react badly from a skipped test?

Drilled into me to always test there"... I've honestly had better luck testing a small spot on the jawline near the ear. The inner arm can be less reactive than the face sometimes.

Actually, the jawline is still facial skin. The inner arm test is meant to check for a true allergic reaction on thinner, more sensitive skin that isn't your face.
