Serious question, has anyone tried warming the cleansing gel between your palms before a facial?
I had a client in her 60s with really dry cheeks and oily in the T-zone, and her skin kept flushing halfway through the cleanse no matter what I did. A gal I trained with years ago in Boise told me to rub the gel between my palms for about 10 seconds before it touches the face, so it goes on warm instead of cold. I tried it on her three visits in a row, and she stopped getting that red blotchy look and told me it felt like a hot towel instead of a shock. Now I do it with every gel cleanse and it takes no extra time at all. Does anyone else warm their products first, or am I late to this?
