Serious question, how do you handle clients who expect too much too soon?
In my experience, explaining the process for acne treatments can be tough when clients want fast results. Your mileage may vary, but I'd like to hear your approach.

Yeah, I see that in my work too-people just want stuff done yesterday.

Sometimes the rush for fast results comes from how awful the acne makes them feel right now... so first you have to deal with that panic. It helps to admit their frustration is totally normal before even explaining the timeline. If you just list the steps, they might not hear you because they're so stuck on today's breakout. Getting that out of the way can make them way more patient with the actual treatment plan.

Hold on, did you just say clients might not even hear the timeline because they're stuck on today's breakout? That's such a good point from @nina429. I never really thought about the fact that their panic literally blocks them from processing the plan you're trying to explain. That changes how I would start the whole conversation.

From my view, not all clients hit full panic mode over a single breakout. I see @jordanmorgan's point, but in my experience, many people are just annoyed, not stopped from hearing the plan. Calling it panic might make it sound worse than it is for most. A clear talk right away often works without needing to handle big feelings first. Your mileage may vary, since everyone is different.
