inSerious question, how do you handle clients who expect too much too soon?
From my view, not all clients hit full panic mode over a single breakout. I see @jordanmorgan's point, but in my experience, many people are just annoyed, not stopped from hearing the plan. Calling it panic might make it sound worse than it is for most. A clear talk right away often works without needing to handle big feelings first. Your mileage may vary, since everyone is different.

inHot take: Setting clear house rules for extended family visits saves everyone's sanity
How do you handle family visits with the thermostat? We had the same problem with my parents last winter. We put out a basket of sweaters and told everyone the house stays at 68. My mom grumbled at first, but she wore a sweater and got over it. It saved us a ton of stress.

inFinding a better way around a landslide on the Colorado Trail
Funny how often the easiest way forward is just off to the side if you look. I mean, I get stuck on the main plan all the time, whether it's a traffic jam or a messed up schedule. Stepping back for a second with a different view, like your satellite pic, usually shows you the path that was there the whole time.
