Vent: took me 11 days to figure out why my lash clients kept getting glue bumps
Kept getting these tiny bumps on the skin right at the lash line and I blamed my tweezers, then my tape, then the humidity in my room. Finally realized I was letting the adhesive sit on the strip too long before picking it up, so it was basically curing before it ever touched the lash. Switched to grabbing a fresh drop every 15 minutes instead of stretching one drop through a whole set, and the bumps stopped on the very next appointment. Eleven days of redoing tape placement and second guessing my technique for something that simple, lol. Any of you have a fix that took way too long to find?
Oh man, the strip curing thing got me too! I spent weeks thinking my room was too cold and messing with the thermostat before I figured out I was dipping back into the same glue puddle way too long. Now I squeeze out tiny fresh drops every few clients and my retention got better too, go figure.
