My brother's idea for labeling shoe sizes cut my mix-ups in half
Brother saw me struggle with shoe sizes. He suggested colored tape on bins. I mark each bin now. Saves time when I hurry home. For my son's games. No more digging for shoes. Workflow is much better.

Labeling shoes seems like a lot of effort for something so small. We all have bigger problems than finding the right pair before a game. Tape systems can fail, like alice817 said, and then you're back to square one. It's just shoes, lol. Not a hospital setup where labels save lives. If it works for you, great, but making a whole thing out of it seems extra.

Honestly, my own system is just writing my name on the inside with a marker that's probably almost dead (so it looks terrible). It's the least effort possible, which fits my whole vibe. I guess I see both sides, like if it saves you two minutes of frantic searching before practice, maybe the tape is worth it. But yeah, it's definitely not a life or death situation, more of a mild annoyance fix.

Sounds like extra work to me. That tape will peel off in a month and you'll be back to digging anyway.

Read about someone using washi tape for this same thing. The patterned kind sticks way better than basic colored tape. They had a whole system with different patterns for each family member's size.
