Found a trick for sewing curved seams without pins
I was working on a circle skirt last month and kept getting puckers at the waistband. Tried basting by hand and it took way too long. Then I read about using a strip of interfacing tape along the curve to hold everything in place. It worked way better than pins and saved me about 20 minutes per seam. Has anyone else tried this method or found another shortcut for curves?

Interfacing tape is actually meant to stabilize fabric, not hold seams together for sewing. It can leave a stiff residue or gum up your needle if you stitch through it. Try a walking foot or a few bias-cut strips of tissue paper instead, way easier on your machine and the fabric.

Guess I'll stick with my cursed puckers and save the glue-gun cleaning for later.

Wait til you hit a glob of glue from the tape, that's what happened to me @abbyf79. I just use a strip of tissue paper torn along the bias now, no residue and it tears right off after you sew.
