Hit post #200 on the same subdivision street and it finally hit me
Been setting fences on this one block in Riverside for 6 months, and yesterday I realized I've done 200 individual panels without a single redo. It wasn't until the homeowner's kid counted them on my clipboard that I actually felt the grind, has anyone else had a number like that sneak up on them?
My version of that is realizing I've eaten the same sad turkey sandwich for lunch like 300 work days in a row and never once noticed until my wife pointed it out. Two hundred fence panels with zero redos is way more impressive than my sandwich streak, that's for sure. And of course it took a kid with a clipboard to make you see it, because when you're just out there swinging a hammer every day it all blurs into one long Monday. Some stuff you can't feel while you're in it, you only see the size of it after.
