Stopping the blame game with flower suppliers

My wholesaler would often send flowers that were past their prime. I'd complain, and they'd say it was my fault for not storing them right. Once, I got hydrangeas that were brown at the edges. Now, I unbox each order with a quick video on my phone. I send it to them right away with the order details. This has cut down on arguments and got me better replacements. It saves time and keeps my stock fresh for clients.

Well... I see your point, but that's kind of the whole win. It doesn't need to "fix" them for good, it just fixes the problem for me. Having the proof makes them act right for my orders, which is all I really need... way easier than finding and testing a new supplier.

Ugh, I've had similar issues with my suppliers.

But does the video proof actually fix a bad supplier for good? It seems like it just makes it easier to get replacements from someone who already sends bad stock.

So it's that big of a deal, @jana509?
