Switched from Zillow ads to old school mailers for a listing in Springfield
I spent $500 on Zillow Premier Agent ads for a month and got two leads that went nowhere. Then I mailed 200 simple postcards to the neighborhood and got three calls, one of which turned into a showing. The local touch just worked better. Anyone else find digital ads less effective for certain areas?

Honestly, what's the actual cost per lead when you break it down though? Parker_thomas has a point about three calls not sounding huge, but tbh, that one showing from the mailers beats two dead-end digital leads any day. Sometimes a smaller, real response from people right there is way better than a bunch of clicks from who-knows-where. It feels more like talking to actual neighbors instead of just throwing money into an ad black hole.

Old school mailers" sounds like a big deal for just three calls.

My buddy tried those targeted mailers last year for his handyman stuff. Got like four calls total, but one turned into a huge kitchen redo for his best client's cousin. Honestly, it's exactly what @kimr91 is saying, that one real job from a local person who trusts the mailer beats a ton of online tire-kickers.
