Finally tested my IKEA desk against a proper standing frame - night and day difference
My old Linnmon desk started wobbling after 6 months of heavy typing. Tried a $500 Jarvis frame with the same top and my typing speed went up by like 20 words per minute. Has anyone else had a desk swap totally change their workflow?

Man people really sleep on how much a stable surface changes everything. It's just one of those things you don't realize is holding you back until you fix it.

Read somewhere that even pro streamers obsess over their desk being perfectly level. It makes a weird amount of sense when you think about how much time you spend at it. Never realized my own wobbly chair was part of why I kept getting annoyed at games.

Ngl I used to roll my eyes at people talking about desk setup stuff like it mattered that much. But yeah this whole thread actually makes me wanna check if my desk is level lmao.
