My friend told me to ignore the man in the yellow hat, but he was there again today

She said it was just a coincidence when I saw the same guy in a bright yellow hat at the gas station, the grocery store, and the park all last Thursday. This morning he was standing outside my office building, looked right at me, and then he was just gone when I blinked. Has anyone else had a person show up over and over like this before they vanish?

Wow, that red coat story is exactly like the yellow hat guy. It's the sudden vanishing that really gets me, like they were never even there. Makes you wonder if our brains just fill in a person when we're stressed, then delete them when we panic. Did you ever see the woman in red again after that?

Whoa, okay, yes. This happened to me with a woman in a red coat. She was at the bus stop near my house three mornings in a row, then at the corner store that weekend. The last time, I saw her across the street from my gym, just standing there. I looked down to tie my shoe, and when I looked back up, she was completely gone. No doors nearby she could have gone into. It was the weirdest thing.

Ever notice how these weird patterns always seem to happen when you're tired or stressed? My brain starts connecting dots that aren't really there, making a random guy into a stalker. It's probably just our minds playing tricks.

Ever have that happen and try to write it down? @alex820 I got a notebook and put the "weird" things on one side and the normal reasons on the other. Like, the guy who was "following" me just worked in three places I go. Seeing it on paper made my brain stop making up the story.
