Went to a county clerk office in Denver last Thursday and it was chaos
I showed up to file my LLC paperwork in person because the online portal kept glitching. The lady at the counter said they were 3 weeks behind on processing because half the staff was out sick. Has anyone else had better luck just mailing it in?

Haha sounds like the DMV but for small business dreams. I mailed my renewal forms last month and honestly it was less stressful than dealing with that chaos. Filled out everything online, printed it out, stuck a stamp on it, and waited two weeks. Got a confirmation letter back but I swear I heard the postal worker sigh when I handed it over like "not another one." Still beats standing in line for three hours feeling like you're competing in the Hunger Games for a business license though. Bet the clerks are just as over it as we are.

I read somewhere that Denver's county office had a 40% staffing shortage this month, so that tracks with what you saw. @the_robin is right about mailing it being the smarter move, I did that for my last renewal and got it back in about two weeks with zero headache.

What about the online portal though, did you try it on a weekday afternoon or early morning when traffic might be lower?
