Logo project for a bakery that ghosted after 3 rounds of revisions

I spent 14 hours designing a logo for a local bakery in Portland, only for them to vanish after I sent the final files. No payment, no reply to my voicemails. Has anyone else dealt with clients who just disappear after the work is done?

Never sign a client without 50% upfront after one baker stiffed me on a $700 bill.
