Wasted $180 on a fancy planner system that I never opened after January
I saw this whole planner thing all over Instagram last fall. The kind where you buy the cover, the inserts, the stickers, the whole setup. Spent like $180 total with shipping. Thought it would organize my business and my life. Opened it up January 1st, wrote in it for like two weeks. Then I just stopped. It's sitting on my shelf right now collecting dust. Meanwhile I still use a $2 notebook from the grocery store and Google Calendar. Has anyone else fallen for the fancy planner trap or is it just me being impulsive?

mousepad" is WAY better than my $180 dust collector.

My buddy actually dropped $200 on one of those planner systems with all the refills and accessories. He kept losing the little discs and stickers after about a week, then just went back to using a spiral notebook he grabbed from the drugstore for three bucks. He told me the fancy stuff just made him feel guilty about not using it, so a cheap notebook and a pen ended up being his real solution.

My brother bought one of those expensive systems a few years back. Ended up using the cover as a mousepad and threw the rest away. Grocery store notebook and a calendar app are the only things that ever worked for me, too.
