Hit a weird milestone yesterday - finished a 90-day project with zero revisions needed
I've been working on a website copy project for a real estate agent in Portland since January. Normally I have to do at least 2 or 3 rounds of edits on everything. But yesterday she sent me a message saying the first draft was perfect and she didn't need any changes at all. That has literally never happened to me in 4 years of freelancing. It felt really good especially since February was my slowest month ever. Has anyone else had a project just click right away like that?

Wait til you have a client who says "it's perfect" and then emails you three weeks later wanting changes. But congrats, that's basically the freelancer lottery right there. My brain would short circuit if someone told me zero revisions. I'd probably ask them if they're feeling okay.

omg that's wild but honestly it kinda makes sense when you think about it. Sometimes things just line up perfectly like when you find a parking spot right in front of the store or your coffee order is exactly right. I feel like when you're in sync with someone everything flows easier no matter what you're doing.
