Picked a $50 Canva template over a $500 custom logo for my branding project
I had to choose between a professional designer's logo package and a pre-made template for my solo consulting landing page. I went with the template, spent 3 hours tweaking it in Canva, and honestly got more compliments on it than any custom work I've seen. Has anyone else saved cash on templates and regretted it or been glad they did?

Wait, didn't somebody post a study or something last month showing people actually trust templates more because they look like what everyone else is already using? I swear I saw that on a design blog where they tested both and the template won on clarity and speed. Your frozen pizza comparison is perfect honestly. Sometimes you just want something that works and tastes fine instead of a gourmet meal that takes three hours and still might burn. The $500 logo probably had too many ideas crammed in there.
