My attempt at a watercolor feature wall in the bedroom turned out better than expected

I was painting a mural in my bedroom and decided to use watercolors. I mixed salt into the wet paint to get a starry night effect, which was surprisingly easy. What other watercolor tricks work well for large-scale home decor?

Seriously, just tell beng51 you'll skip the vodka spritzes if you're that worried about flames. Alcohol drops do make cool blooms though, just maybe in a well-ventilated room.

Try alcohol drops for blooms on big walls.

But what if it's a fire hazard?

Ngl, watercolor effects on walls seem kinda risky. They might look cool now but could fade or stain over time. Plus, cleaning them would be a nightmare.

Watercolor walls are a bold artistic choice that's totally worth the effort. The unique texture and organic flow you get can't be matched by regular paint.

Read about using plastic wrap on wet walls to get a cool marble effect (it's surprisingly simple, honestly). You just crumple it up, press it into the paint, and peel it off after drying. That method should calm @beng51's fire hazard worries since it's completely safe. I also heard that a light water spray can blend colors for a soft gradient, which works great for large areas.
