PSA: Mud over dust on a ceiling will peel right off

I skipped cleaning the dust before applying joint compound. It all came off in big pieces once dry. Always dust the area well first.

You sure your hand speed was that steady? Wobble isn't the only thing that changes penetration. Your arc length or heat input probably wandered a bit.

During a repair group potluck, I said budget soldering irons are fine. The awkward pause said it all.

Ever had a cheap iron tip go bad immediately? Mine oxidized on the first joint and just smeared solder everywhere. Total waste of money.

Update: I totally flipped on skipping anime recaps

Yeah the Demon Slayer season 2 recap totally changed my mind too. Was lost on some plot points until I watched it. Now I never skip.
