Had to choose between a full rebuild or a drop-in crate motor for a 6.0 Powerstroke that came in last month.

Went with the rebuild because the customer wanted to keep costs under $5k and we found the block was still good, but now I'm wondering if anyone has a go-to source for aftermarket head studs that won't break the bank.

Saw a crew using a laser level for a simple garden wall and thought it was overkill

But after helping them for an hour, the speed and perfect lines convinced me. Anyone else switch to lasers for smaller jobs after being skeptical?

I just realized my 'good credit' move was actually tanking my score

I've been putting a $500 car payment on my credit card every month for the points, thinking I was smart. My score dropped 40 points and a loan officer in Charlotte finally told me my utilization was way too high. How do you guys handle big regular bills without messing up your credit?
