Warning: Chasing vibrations with a wrench can hide the real problem

We had a shake on a Cessna 172 that wouldn't go away. The team kept cranking down the engine mounts because that's the usual fix. I ignored that and looked at the propeller instead. It was out of balance, and a small adjustment cleared it right up.
