Shoutout to the guy who told me to try a 1/2 inch bull float on a 4 inch slab

I did it on a garage floor in Denver and the finish was way too wet, had to go back over it with a magnesium. Has anyone else had a tool recommendation backfire like that?

Unpopular opinion: My wife's tool storage fix made our weekend project smooth

My old pegboard was a joke, just random hooks everywhere. I finally bought a pack of those clear plastic bins from the hardware store and sorted all my small stuff by job type. Now plumbing fittings live in one bin, electrical connectors in another, and I can actually find what I need.

I finally stopped using my old framing nailer after a client pointed out it was leaving marks on their custom trim.

Yeah I always thought those marks were just part of the job. Seeing it on a customer's nice trim totally changed my mind though.
