That $140 borescope finally paid for itself today
Been putting off buying one for ages, watched a guy borrow one from the next hangar and find a cracked baffle in 10 minutes. Pulled the trigger on a decent one from Snap-on last month, found a loose exhaust flange on a Cessna 172 this morning that I woulda missed with a mirror. The customer literally watched me use it and asked if he could take a photo. Anybody else got tool purchases that seemed steep but turned out to be worth every buck?

Wish I’d spent the money before I spent two hours guessing with a flashlight and a prayer.

Did you try the simple stuff first, like checking the fuse box or swapping out bulbs? @the_hayden, I had the same issue last year and it turned out to be a loose wire behind the switch, took me five minutes once I stopped overthinking it.
