Had to choose between a wireless retrofit or a full rewire on a 1980s house in Tacoma. Went with the rewire and it took three days longer but the signal strength is perfect now.

Remember my buddy tried the wireless retrofit in his old place. He saved a couple days, sure, but then his video calls kept dropping every time the fridge kicked on. He ended up crawling under the house a year later to run ethernet anyway. Sometimes you just gotta do the job right the first time, even if it's a pain.
