Accidentally binged the dub and now I cant go back

I watched subbed anime for like 7 years straight, since 2018, and I told everyone dubs were trash without ever really giving them a fair shot. Then last week my friend put on the Honey Lemon Soda dub while we were eating and I caught myself laughing at the timing way more than I ever did reading subtitles. Am I wrong for thinking some dubs actually capture the vibe better, or did I just brainwash myself into a fake preference this whole time?

Same thing happened to me with Spy x Family, I felt so betrayed.
