Just wasted $120 on that 4K remaster box set, the audio mix is atrocious
I picked up the limited edition of that classic mecha show from the 80s last month, the one everyone raves about. Paid 120 bucks for it and the picture is fine but the sound is a mess, half the explosions drown out the dialogue and the new English dub changes the tone completely. The original Japanese track is the only way to go, but even that has weird sync issues on disc 3. Anyone else get burned by a 'definitive' release that just feels like a cash grab?
