Seriously, people are acting like it's the end of the world. It's probably not even that big a deal.

Have you heard what happened to my buddy's wife when she redid their huge floor alone? She insisted on doing the wax herself to keep it even, but she totally missed a big patch in the corner. Her husband came home and saw the dull spot right away before it set all the way. They had to redo that whole section, and now they never do floors without the other person there to spot check. Kinda proves that a second pair of eyes can save a lot of trouble.

Watched my friend's book club spend thirty minutes picking apart a car color as a symbol. They totally missed how the main story fell apart in the last few chapters. It drives me crazy when groups get hung up on tiny details like that, @ryan809. My friend said they never even voted on if they liked the book overall. All that analysis and no simple talk about whether it was a good read. Feels like some clubs care more about sounding smart than having fun with books.
