That time a compressor swap turned into a three day job
Had a 3 year old Samsung fridge with a bad compressor last month. Swapped it out with a new one from the supplier in Denver, but the system kept kicking the overload after 20 minutes. Turns out the new compressor had a different start relay spec and I didn't catch it until I called their tech line. Anyone else run into parts that don't match what the manual says?

Strong disagree from me, three days sounds pretty fast for a fridge compressor swap these days. Maybe the manual was right and the real issue was just not checking the part number before firing it up.

Three days is still a day and a half longer than I'd trust my leftovers in a cooler.

Haha yeah that's fair, I'm with you on that. I’ve had leftovers go bad in a cooler way faster than that even, it’s crazy how quick things turn. Three days is already pushing it for me too lol.
