My photo of the Orion Nebula finally got 100 likes on a space forum

I took that picture with my old 8 inch telescope and a basic camera last winter. It took me three tries to get the focus right, and I spent about six hours stacking the images. Hitting that number felt good because I'm just a hobbyist in my backyard in Phoenix. It made me think my work might actually be okay. What's a small win you've had lately with your own photos?

My buddy Matt finally got a shot of the Milky Way over the Grand Canyon without any light pollution ruining it. He drove out there three times last month waiting for the perfect clear night. The photo is just this amazing ribbon of stars above the canyon rim, and he was so pumped he printed it poster size for his living room.

Poster size? @sagejackson, that sounds like a huge waste of wall space.
