My buddy used some to patch his driveway last spring. Whole section washed out in the first good storm.

Wow, that sucks. Did he even clean the crack first? I bet water got under it. Those quick-set bags can be total junk. Was it a name brand or store stuff?

Quick-set concrete is basically a promise to redo the job next year. @matthewking's buddy could tell you all about it.
