Tried the new spray-on panel wipe versus the old rag and bucket method

I mean, I've always just used a bucket of wax and grease remover with a bunch of clean rags, right? Last week I got a sample of that new aerosol panel prep spray, the kind you just spray on and wipe off once. Used it on a quarter panel repair. The rag method left a tiny bit of residue that I only saw after the sealer flashed, which meant re-cleaning. The spray stuff dried totally clear with no streaks in about 90 seconds. It cut the prep time for that step in half, easy. Has anyone else switched to this stuff, or do you still trust the old way more?

Man, that reminds me of the time I tried a new tile adhesive.

Oh man, tile adhesive is no joke. I used this "quick set" stuff once and it set way faster than the box said. I was still trying to level the third tile when the first one was already stuck for good. Had to chip it all out with a cold chisel, what a mess.

Every product's "quick" setting is a total lie.
