My caffeine habit is wrecking my focus during long wiring jobs

I rely on coffee to get through 12-hour shifts, but now I'm jittery when soldering tiny connectors. It's so easy to make a mistake when your hands won't stay steady. I tried cutting back, but the fatigue hits hard. Maybe I need a better routine, but it's tough with our schedule, lmao.

Twelve hour shifts soldering?

Is it that bad though? I've pulled some long shifts on my feet that make sitting down for soldering sound pretty chill.

Soldering for that long sounds brutal on the eyes and hands. I once tried to repair a old radio and my back was killing me after just three hours. Can't even picture doing quadruple that time.

That caffeine crash is a real trap, man. It gets you going but then leaves you worse off than if you'd just been tired. Maybe try switching to a lower caffeine tea halfway through the shift, like green tea. The steadier energy might help your hands more than the coffee spikes and crashes. It's a pain to change the habit but the jitters during fine work sound brutal.
