I finally bit the bullet on a $60 Danish dough whisk and I'm honestly mad about it

Been using a wooden spoon for years to mix my bread dough, figured a whisk was just a fancy gimmick. My wife got sick of me complaining about tired wrists and bought me one last week. First batch of sourdough? Mixed in like 30 seconds flat with zero effort. I'm just irritated I spent 3 years fighting with sticky dough when this thing exists. Anyone else have a tool they refused to buy and then regretted waiting?

Oh man, that's exactly how I felt about finally getting a bench scraper after years of using a butter knife. Now I'm mad at myself for all that extra cleanup and frustration when I could have just spent $8.

Right? It's wild how something so simple can make such a huge difference. I had the same moment with a cheap dough scraper after using a spoon for years, felt like a total idiot for not grabbing one sooner. Makes you wonder what other basic tools you're just making harder on yourself without knowing it.

Wait, a dough scraper and a bench scraper aren't the same thing.
