Had the worst Saturday of my barbering career last month

I booked 12 cuts back to back on a Saturday in Austin, and by the 3rd client my clippers started pulling hair like crazy. Turns out I forgot to oil them that morning and three people walked out with uneven fades while I was trying to fix the buzz. Has anyone else had a day where one small mistake just snowballed into a total mess?

Clippers pulling hair is rough but three people walking out with uneven fades sounds like a bit of an overreaction. Pretty sure most dudes can't even tell a perfect fade from a decent one.
