I finally figured out why my fade lines kept ghosting on clients

After 6 months of frustrating fade work here in Phoenix, I realized I was rushing my clipper-over-comb technique on the weight line. Every time I sped through that part, the dark line would reappear after I shaved it down. Last week I slowed way down and used a shorter guard to gently blend it first, and the fade came out clean on the first pass. Has anyone else struggled with this same spot on coarse hair types?

Did your buddy try a half guard to soften that weight line first?

Damn, that's rough to watch. It's crazy how a simple adjustment can make or break someone in a situation like that. Hope your buddy is okay after that.
