I thought 'no work weekends' was impossible until I tried it for three months straight.
I was sure I'd lose money, but my income stayed the same and my brain finally stopped feeling fried, so is this rule actually a game-changer or just a lucky break for my specific type of work?

My old firm had a strict 5pm Friday cutoff for everyone. It forced us to actually plan the week and cut out so much pointless busywork. The rule works because it makes you focus on what actually matters during work hours. I mean, if your income stayed the same, that's proof it wasn't a fluke.

So what happened to the people who couldn't get their work done by five? Did they just get fired, or did management actually help them figure out how to work smarter? I've seen rules like this backfire when they don't give any real support.

Wait, you actually kept the same income? That's wild lol. It forces you to cut the fat and just do the important stuff. Sounds like the rule is legit.
