My brother's bike repair 'skills' are a family joke, but it's not funny

He once tightened a stem so MUCH it cracked the fork. Now I don't let him near ANY of my projects without SUPERVISION.

I read that overtightening is one of the most common beginner mistakes, so at least he's not alone.

My buddy's bike had a cracked fork too. Now he always uses a torque wrench.
