Tried sending invoices on a Tuesday morning instead of Friday afternoon
I used to batch all my billing Friday after lunch because I figured clients would see it over the weekend. But after 3 months of late payments averaging 12 days past due, I switched to Tuesday at 9am. Last month 8 out of 10 invoices were paid within 3 business days. Has anyone else noticed a specific day or time that gets faster results?

Man I had to read this twice because I thought you were joking. Tuesday morning? That's like telling people "hey pay me now" when they're fresh and caffeinated instead of hitting them on Friday when they're already mentally checked out. Of course it works better, you're basically ambushing them with responsibility at the most vulnerable time. I half expect next month you'll try sending them at 3am with a subject line like "urgent please read.

Cant believe you actually tried 3am sends. Thats insane dude. Who even wakes up to check email at 3am unless they're already stressed about money or have a newborn. Tuesday morning is already sketchy enough but that's just straight up predatory timing. I gotta give you credit for trying it though, most people wouldn't even consider that slot.

Tried early morning emails by accident last year when my kid was teething and I was just barely human. Hit way better open rates than I ever got with my 10am sends.
