I finally get why people rewatch The Expanse

For years I saw threads about The Expanse and figured it was just another space show with too much science talk. Then last month I gave it a shot during a slow stretch, and by episode 4 of season 1 I was hooked. What flipped me was the way the political stuff between Earth, Mars, and the Belt actually feels like real people fighting over resources, not just laser battles. I finished all 6 seasons in about 11 days, which is fast for me since I usually watch an episode a night. Now I'm on my second watch and picking up on little foreshadowing things I totally missed the first time. Anyone else have a show they slept on for years and then binged twice in a row?

Hold on, I watched the whole thing and honestly thought the politics dragged way too hard, I almost quit twice before the fun space stuff showed up. But hey, glad it clicked for you, that's the great thing about shows, they hit different for everyone.

and honestly I get that so much, the middle stretch had me checking my phone way more than I should admit. I almost bailed during that whole subplot about the council voting stuff, like I got why it mattered for the story but my brain was screaming for them to just get back to the ship already. It took me three sittings to actually finish the season because of those political parts. But yeah, once the space stuff kicked in I was hooked, glad I pushed through but I totally respect people who decided it wasnt worth it. Different shows just hit different depending on what you're looking for, thats fair.
