Warning: It took me 5 episodes to realize I had the wrong show on

I was binging what I thought was a new season of Severance on Apple TV last Tuesday. After like 4 episodes I kept thinking the plot made no sense and the characters were off. Turns out I was watching some show called 'The Signal' instead because the thumbnails looked the same. Has anyone else burned time like this on a streaming mix up?

Pretty sure Severance is on Apple TV, not Hulu but I get the confusion since the thumbnails are all just faces now.

Add to the fact that Apple TV's interface is basically just a wall of giant faces with tiny text underneath. I swear it took me 20 minutes to find where they hid the Silo season 2 trailer in there because every thumbnail looked the same. Makes me wonder how much money they spend on these shows only to bury them in a layout that feels like a streaming roulette wheel.

Same thing happened to me last month when I grabbed a can of beans thinking it was refried but it was actually black bean soup, the labels are basically identical now. This whole trend of making everything look the same is why I can't trust anything at first glance anymore.
