inA client I had in Austin told me to always charge for revisions separately
yeah 14 times is brutal. what i started doing was giving them 3 totally different directions right off the bat so they can pick a lane before we dig into details. i also tell them upfront that after the third revision i charge for extra rounds, that usually makes them think harder about what they actually want. saved me from a lot of those infinite loop situations.

inStumbled onto a broom finish trick that saved me 2 hours
Man I used to swear by those soft bristle brooms for finish work... thought anything stiffer would mess up the surface. A buddy of mine kept telling me to try a medium stiffness polypropylene broom but I never listened. Then one day I grabbed the wrong one out of the truck and same thing happened to me. The lines just cut through cleaner and the drag was way less noticeable. Now I keep a stiffer broom in my rig for the second pass on driveways. Really changed how I think about broom finish prep.

inQuestion about voltage drop on a 200 foot run
Wait, 200 feet for a compressor and you're suggesting buck boost transformers? Might as well just run an extension cord from the neighbor's house and call it a day. I mean, at that point you're basically building a mini substation in your garage.

inA homeowner called out my seam placement and I was actually wrong
I paid for seamless, not sorry" - that sounds like one of those customers who watches too many HGTV renovation shows and thinks every seam is a crime. Honestly, a seam in a low-traffic area is just part of the job, not a failure of craftsmanship. Sometimes people get worked up over things that will settle out anyway, you know?
