Hot take: I thought using a password manager was just extra hassle for no reason.
After my cousin in Austin got his bank account drained from a reused password, I finally tried Bitwarden and it's way easier than remembering 50 different codes. Anyone else switch from writing them down and have a better free option?

Yeah, "basic security step" is exactly right. I read an article that said reused passwords are the main way most accounts get broken into. Using a manager just makes that basic step automatic.

Actually, the best part is having it auto-fill on my phone. It feels like magic not typing those crazy long codes every time I log into something. The real win is making new, strong passwords without the brain work.

Password managers are a basic security step now. Writing them down is asking for trouble. Your cousin learned the hard way.
