The $60 foam core insert that saved my game shelf
I spent $60 last year on a custom foam core insert for my Gloomhaven box and honestly it was worth every penny... No more hunting for lost tokens between rounds or trying to Tetris everything back in. Has anyone else found that spending a bit on organization actually makes you play games more often?

You said "Tetris everything back in" and that really hit me. I've noticed this pattern everywhere lately, not just with board games. People spend money on organizers for their closets, their kitchen drawers, even their digital files. It's like we're all trying to fight against the chaos of everyday life. Once things have a place and you can find them easily, you actually want to use them more. It's not about the money, it's about removing that little wall of frustration that keeps you from enjoying something.

Oh man, I felt this in my bones. I did the same thing with my hobby desk last month and it's like a weight lifted off my shoulders when I actually want to sit down and work on stuff now instead of dreading the mess. Have you found any other spots around your place where doing the Tetris thing made a big difference for you?

That "little wall of frustration" thing really nails it. It's wild how something as simple as not being able to find the damn garlic press can make you just give up on cooking a nice meal and order takeout instead. Once you clear away that tiny bit of friction, it's like your brain has space to actually enjoy the thing you wanted to do.
