Everyone raves about staying in hostels but my experience was awful
I kept seeing posts saying hostels are the best way to save money and meet people. So last summer in Barcelona I tried one for 4 nights at 30 euros a night. My bunk mate snored so loud I got maybe 2 hours of sleep each night and someone stole my shampoo from the shared shower. I ended up paying for a cheap hotel for the last 2 nights just to get some rest. Has anyone else had a bad hostel experience or am I just unlucky?
